A little bit of chit-chat
Ripple and Peersyst have announced the launch of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) EVM sidechain, utilizing evmOS, a modular tech stack from Evmos. The XRPL EVM sidechain, now live in Devnet, leverages evmOS to provide EVM compatibility and integrates with the Cosmos SDK, enabling access to over 60 Cosmos SDK chains through the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC).
📅 From months to days
Rollchains has announced the launch of its new Spawn platform, aimed at developers looking to create Interchain Security (ICS) consumer chains within the expanding Atom Economic Zone (AEZ). Cosmos Hub's network of 180 validators and over $2.5 billion in staked tokens provides a secure foundation, and Spawn is designed to streamline the development and deployment of new chains.
The Spawn platform offers developers a suite of tools that allows them to select Cosmos-SDK modules to suit specific business needs. It also includes features for automatic testing with Interchaintest, continuous integration (CI) tests, and unit tests.
With Rollchains' Spawn, launching new chains in the AEZ is supposed to be expedited, allegedly reducing the timeline from months to days.
🤝 RWAs interop
Deutsche Bank has selected Axelar as a partner in the Monetary Authority of Singapore's Project Guardian.
Project Guardian, which includes contributions from Memento Blockchain, aims to test asset tokenisation applications within a regulated environment. By leveraging Axelar's interoperability platform, Deutsche Bank seeks to explore an open architecture that handles tokenised and digital funds.
