A little bit of chit-chat
Quicksilver Zone's Nakamoto Coefficient has been determined to be 14, making it the highest among the liquid staking zones tracked by @SmartStake and the third-highest Nakamoto Coefficient in the entire Cosmos ecosystem. The Nakamoto coefficient measures decentralization and represents the minimum number of nodes required to disrupt the blockchain's network, which is ⅓ in Tendermint-based POS. A high Nakamoto coefficient means that a blockchain is more decentralized, indicating a more robust and secure network.
Privacy in Cosmos Event on June 7th in Prague!
Join us on June 7th in Prague, as we delve deeper into the Cosmos ecosystem and the role that privacy and ZK tech is playing in pushing the network forward! This is our 2nd live Privacy in Cosmos event, we once again aim to bring together the community for a day of talks and panels focused on the role of privacy within the Cosmos ecosystem.
Delve deeper into the Cosmos ecosystem through this privacy-focused event hosted by ZKValidator with our media partner Zero Knowledge Podcast and presented in collaboration with RockawayX. Also, be sure to check out the Gateway to Cosmos event from June 3-5th.

Osmosis 2.0
The Osmosis community is currently voting on three key tokenomics proposals that could modify the protocol’s economic future. The proposals, numbered #484, #485, and #486, aim to bring about significant changes to the emissions, staking net yield, and incentives for Superfluid Staking on Osmosis.
Proposal #484 attempts to reduce $OSMO emissions by 50% and double the time between thirdenings while also slightly decreasing the maximum supply to 980 million, extending the thirdening schedule. This proposal aims to address inflation concerns and create a more sustainable token supply for the Osmosis ecosystem.
Proposal #485 focuses on adjusting the $OSMO distribution ratio and increasing the staking net yield from -3.9% to +8.4%. It also includes plans to decrease the community pool revenue and lower LP rewards and the development fund. This proposal aims to incentivize staking and provide more rewards for those who participate in the Osmosis network.
Proposal #486 is centred around Superfluid Staking, allowing for 75% of $OSMO to be used for superfluid staking, up from the previous 50%. This proposal suggests increasing the APR of pools with Superfluid Staking by 2%, while decreasing the Staking APR by 1.5%. This proposal aims to promote the use of Superfluid Staking and provide more opportunities for Osmosis users to participate in the ecosystem.
Interchain academy
If you want to build in Cosmos or invite friends to the ecosystem, this is the right time. The Interchain Developer Academy is a comprehensive, 7-week online program for blockchain enthusiasts, fully funded by @interchain_io.
Developed by B9Lab experts, the program covers blockchain technology, Interchain stack, and Cosmos ecosystem, with hands-on coding experience. Successful participants receive official certification and join an alumni community.
Cohort 4 applications are open, with a screening test deadline on May 8th, and the program will run from May 18th to August 4th, accommodating 300 new participants. Applicants must have at least three years of professional programming experience.
